This week’s retro trailer is for the 1982 martial arts motion horror film Uncooked Drive. The cult traditional B-movie was directed by Edward Murphy, and it follows a gaggle of martial artists on an ill-fated journey to a mysterious island generally known as Warrior’s Island.
The island is notorious for being the ultimate resting place of disgraced martial arts masters. Aboard a cruise ship, the martial artists discover themselves in a weird and harmful story involving cannibal monks, zombie warriors, and a nefarious jade smuggling operation.
Because the characters, which embrace a decided cop and a resourceful ship captain, face off towards these otherworldly threats, they have to use their martial arts expertise and wit to outlive.
The has bought some wild over-the-top motion sequences and plenty of campy dialogue that helps make the movie enjoyable and entertaining.
